    October the 24th marks 60 years since the Deltic prototype was allocated to Speke Shed, to commemorate this event Deltic will be joined by 55002 'Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry', and with thanks to the Deltic Preservation Society, D9009 'Alycidon' and 55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' will also be attendance.

    Passenger rides and cab access will be available throughout the event, which will also coincide with a release of limited edition models of DP1 and 55002 through locomotionmodels.com.

    Any possibility of an evening photo shoot - the last one at Shildon with all the Deltics was superb?
