News about Barber would be most welcome since updates on the official site are, to say the least, infrequent.

Barber appears to be coming along well. Boiler delivered to Alan Keef Ltd and fitted. The locomotive is to appear in Leeds at what remains of T. S. Green's works in early July. It then goes on display at The Great Yorkshire Show. After the show it then goes to Alston. This information is taken from the South Tynedale Railway Facebook page where further details may be found.

I understand 'Harrogate' failed at the weekend, does anyone know how serious this is? and if she'll be back running again soon/if anything else is currently serviceable, hoping to visit sometime next week during the timetabled Steam service, but unsure whether this will still be run by a steam loco. Thanks.

What are the key issues to be resolved in extending the line on from Slaggyford on to Haltwhistle?
