First rule of locomotive restoration/overhaul/repair- throw the calendar away, and take it on a day to day basis, honest answer she will be back at the NNR as soon as possible.

Does anyone know what is happening with this locomotive or not? Is it still on the East Lancs Railway?

Interesting, how come it left the ELR in the first place?? When it returned to traffic 5 years ago, if I remember it was stated 'the company have no intentions to take the locomotive elsewhere'??

Even though it has been working at Llangollen for the last 6 months, it isn't listed on their website. This could suggest either: it isn't staying permanently, or their website isn't up to date!

Been using Llan as engineering base and 'home' railway for the last 3 or 4 years. Going out on hire to various railways dependent on Llangollens motive power requirements.
