Has this tour been cancelled, Steam Dreams aren't listing it at all, and I heard a rumour yesterday that it was being replaced with another Surrey Hills trip. Can anyone confirm?

No. The schedule for this train is now, how shall I say without getting my wrists slapped again by the moderators, in the system.;).
The trip that has been replaced by another Surrey Hills circuit is the run to Oxford on the 1st June.

No. I received my ticket on Monday.

The main dates page only has the ones listed where some tickets were available. Still listed herehttp://www.steamdreams.co.uk/executables/GT410WebContent.exe?ActionCode=Flyingscotsman

Steam Dreams took all the Scotsman stuff off the front of the website once sold out so as to avoid leaking times, and thus breaking the Official Secrets Act.

Oh, and the title of the thread may need to be changed, it ain't going anywhere near Bristol!
It's a repeat run of last Saturday's trip (21st May) including the Salisbury/Southampton/Salisbury circuit.

It looks like common sense is starting to prevail, since the times are already up in the usual place. Codes are 1Z60, 1Z82 & 1Z62.

Uksteam has now been updated thankfully. Welcome back David.

Uksteam has the timings for the Royal Scot railtour to Holyhead and it appears that the timings for Flying Scotsman to Salisbury will be added later !! <BJ>

The fact that there is no return path for a diesel at PAD, plus the Upton Scudamore matter, suggests that FS will again be taking a friend tomorrow.

Question is, will she be tiptoeing through station limits again, the list of restrictions would be useful.

Ill probably avoid crossings still, and stations, look for a longer distance panning shot.

Well I guess that everything that applied on the circuit the last time will apply again. Crofton will remain a good option though, along with everyone else!

I think it might be old news for the great British public, I was surprised how few were out for the Surrey circuit on Wednesday

She has to have a box with her really due to all the reversing movements at Salisbury throughout the day, although fingers crossed the box does little else which was the case last w/e.
That'll be 2 of us at Crofton then :)

Times might well be up on the basis it's the same as last week, for which the times are already available retrospectively anyway. Diesel will be involved owing to required shunt moves at Salisbury and the reversal at Laverstock Junction if the itinerary is repeated to the letter to last week.

I think local radio has a lot to do with it. Spire FM and BBC Solent were both talking about FS last weekend. Maybe the London and Surrey stations had other things to discuss on Wednesday?
