Well she had a diesel backing-up tonight here passing Harringay (21.06). Don't know why I was the only one on the platform though, perhaps everyone else presumed it really is a figment of the imagination! FS 20.05.16 Harringay.JPG

Thanks to the all the people (totalling a number between zero and not zero) who have (or possibly have not) sent me random sequences of digits ;)

I'm off to Bletchley Park for the weekend...

I understand that NR are applying to the High Court for an injunction to prevent the publication of times in England and Wales. Any further tours in Scotland will be subject to a similar application to the Court of Session but English and Welsh papers will be free to publish details.;)

Never thought I'd see Flying Scotsman through my local station, but here she is! Enfield Chase.
Dodgy mobile phone footage I'm afraid:

I wonder how The Daily Mail will circumvent that one.

Should at least keep the crowds down.

If anyone does have some spare timings just lying around I'd be ever so grateful, BTW.

    There's a 1Z60 Padd to Salisbury on RTT. I can't imagine what that is. ;) <BJ>

I am confused here! Is there some bluffing going on or is it my old XP system computer?
1Z60 'reads' as Service Code 22244008  but as "Diesel" hauled max 75mph". Pleased to get enormously more knowledgable feedback! ps I couldn't possibly make the scheduled departure time which is now in less than double digits.

I don't think the NR computer knows what a steam loco is, all trains are shown as diesel hauled, I could make it to Sonning cutting but the grey clouds say stay at home.

Happy it's running I hope as there is no return diesel path to Southall and the minor problem of a reversal at Laverstock to deal with later in the day.
