    1472: Thanks. I can think of a most suitable Heritage line for 2885, but to avoid speculation and waste of bandwidth etc I will not go down that line....
    As to livery, so long as it isn't "LMS crimson" ( to pre-empt Tom...) then it should be another very welcome Heritage line loco wherever it goes.

    A comment seen on another forum, a topic which reports progress on the Erlestoke Manor Fund's loco 7802 being overhauled at Tyseley:-
    "Some of our group are associated with 2885 and as opportunities arise a bit of "homework" gets slipped in on this"....

    I'm happy to put two and two together and make five, but more reliable info should be available at the TYS open weekend coming up.

    Did anyone happen to talk to the 2885 people at the Tyseley open weekend and find out anything about the future for this loco?
