I have uploaded 47 photos of the Head of Steam Museum. Situated in the 1842 station built by the Stockton & Darlington Rly, it is home to legendary S & D 0-4-0 No 1 Locomotion (1825), S & D 0-6-0 No 25 Derwent (1845), NER Tennant 2-4-0 No 1463 (1885) and NER 0-8-0 No 901 (BR Q7 63460, 1919). There are also a few photos of locomotives including 78018 owned by the Darlington Rly Preservation Society, who are based near the museum.

Here is the link; I hope you like them:

Thanks for posting shots, really interesting. Visited earlier in the year but we were bit late so it was closed, wanted to have a browse in the Ken Hoole room.
Pity that nothing more is done with the Northern Rail part of the station as it is very tatty.

An excellent photo summary of the museum. Worth a visit if you're in Darlington.
