Hardly surprising, in a way, as at different times during a six hour period you can get to see the loco there. Probably a good excuse for the great British southerners to learn a little more about a LNER loco. (Did I really say that as a Bulleid devotee?)

I have just seen some pictures on Twitter. I am glad I didn't go there as that was my original plan. It's absolutely heaving with people. No room to move. How the passengers got off I don't know. Crazy scenes.

This evening's times are on RTT now. It is packed here on the platform @ Salisbury and it's just been announced that a service train has been delayed cos of trespassers on the line in the Dean area grrrrr.

Just had a text from a mate who's a cabbie - saw it on the news last night & thought nothing of it..................... jist of his text was the place is a madhouse! :Arghh: told him its same again next week & he's just found himself an airport job!

I for one wouldn't even think about trespass, let alone near a juice rail - they scare the :Muted: out of me - its about time the BTP showed it has some teeth & started nicking the idiotic minority - then maybe, just maybe Joe Public might get the message.....................

So, she's got a blockade to get round as they have a nice detour round Greenford!

Surely they have ticket barriers at Salisbury - have all the throngs really got valid tickets? Wasn't that bad at 11:57 ;)

There were barriers 2 years ago when I visited my cousins, doubt that they have been removed.

Re green five's video at Theale, what in heaven's name was some adult doing allowing that small child to run down the platform on its own on the yellow "stand behind" line?

If BTP had been there, I think a stiff talking to was required.

Not every child has been brought up to be an idiot. That one was clearly well trained.

All barriers and even the platform gates were open. There were quite a lot of people on the platform just watching and not on the tour, probably disappointed when it was reversed in, and will be again when reversed in this evening. There's clearly no problem with the public getting times as every field, road & station are packed & the weather is rather grotty. I don't like this no filming etc from the windows though, they've already reminded people and said the BTP are onboard to enforce it :-(

Saw FS at St Denys being worked very hard indeed with 12 on plus dead box. Looked like Pete Roberts driving. Now come on Pete just remember to use full and 40% on Tangmere next time you get her. Complete waste of time withholding times here and on UK Steam as every single family knew the exact time it was due

Video from Theale and then a couple of miles past Newbury. Pretty quiet in both locations.

Edit: Sorry about the preview image shown here!
