    Steve,

Great to see your submitted an article in the latest issue of MHR News regarding Mad Hants photo charters.

    Great read :).

My effort from the 1st of four sunset run pasts & given that we were getting soaked not long before & there was no sunset forecast, we got very lucky!

The other three look just as tasty, but for different reasons.

Oh, & BTW the fireman in question is Will Stratford - he can shovel like mad & still walks off the footplate looking pristine, and he does like to pose!!

Rode behind Bahamas today. Really worth the visit. Credit must go to the railway for the brilliant way they are running the services in the circumstances.

Some brilliant sound from the Jubilee, even if it was a windy and wet day out the window!

Duty Druid and I were priveleged to ride in the Queen Mary brake behind 45596 yesterday... tender first up Medstead bank meant we had a superb view and a noisy ride!

Yes, many thanks to Steve, Dave and all at the railway for running this 'Covid-safe' Mad Hants charter on Friday last. The light at Bishops Sutton was something special following the heavy shower minutes before! Cheers, Andy

My footage of 45596 Bahamas today hauling her last public runs before returning up north in early November. This video features some lovely sunshine, a gorgeous sunset and even a rainbow. Enjoy.

Wagon team, between the showers, carried out some more rubbing down of the frames etc, and applied a coat of Red Oxide to the country end bufferbeam and south side solebar. Off-site, 3 of the four new doors are up to the primer stage.

Work continues on Wednesday - weather permitting!

Still no sign of my copy of the latest MHR News
Is anyone else waiting for theirs or is it just time needed to reach Cheshire!

Mine hadn't arrived by Saturday. Having been in a similar position myself on the EOR a few years ago, one person doing stuffing and mailing will no doubt take a little while, especially if being fit around a hectic working life. I don't know the exact member count, but I imagine it is sufficiently higher than what I had to work with...

The volunteers stuffing the envelopes were unable to frank all the envelopes. There are over 3000 and the ink ran out on the ranking machine. The task will resume as soon as possible. Sorry for the delay.

Had a good read over the weekend and it’s worth the wait. Thanks to all involved in producing MHR News.

Just home from a pleasant day at Alton.
Well, pleasant until the deluge of rain came!

Plenty of grinding/rubbing back carried out, and some filler applied to two small patches on B870073 (or 870067 if you're picky about that.) Even managed to get some red oxide on before the rain came too.

As I have still not received the latest copy of MHR News I would be grateful if someone would confirm whether they have all been sent out now
This is because I have received conflicting reports about this
    Thanks

Well obviously I am not in any position to confirm if they have all been sent out, but my copy arrived today and according to the postmark was posted 28/10/2020.
Is it possible that they are sent out in alphabetical order?
