Something went past me near Woburn around 7pm tonight- it was green but did not get chance for a proper look. Anyone know what's moving?

Possibly the N2 1744. It's been on the NYMR for a few weeks for their gala, so could well be heading back to the GCR.

Then it missed it's exit from the M1 by a fair distance!

Not the N2-although at a glance it did seem a bit GNR green-ish, shiny and appeared to be missing a chimney! I was heading north and it was past me heading south almost before I saw it- have got a stiff neck at the moment so rubbernecking was not an option...

Anthony - do you know when it is going to be positioned in the old International Terminal yet?

And how it's getting in there? I see from your blog...

I'm guessing to get it in to Waterloo it must be propelled from somewhere, rather than towed? Seeing No. 1 arrive at Waterloo would certainly be an interesting sight!

That'll be me jumping to colclusions! Should've read the post fully, never read the Woburn bit. Apologies for that one!
