I considered this one but decided against it. I have done nearly all the same routes previously on one trip or another and I have done the Leven branch when visiting Edinburgh for other reasons. For me, the traction would be of only moderate interest, so there isn't enough to justify the cost and time.

Appreciate that travelling by charter train is a very personal decision, you must get enjoyment out of it and how lucky we are that there is a great variety to choose from!

Nathan, great to hear you’ve booked with us again. I will be travelling and look forward to seeing you on board!

As the list of routes cleared for loco class’ continue to get ticked off, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with the Class Fifty Alliance to clear the route between Aberdeen and Inverness “over the top”, whilst also being the first charter train to be welcomed to Levan since reopening.

Haven't seen mention of this yet, so I am wondering what is behind the cancellation of the remainder of 2024's tours, as mentioned rather vaguely on the 'Railway Herald' tours page.

In their weekly magazine (published yesterday) fully explained in an article which includes the statement that @35B loaded earlier.
