Actually those clips were pretty good given the conditions imo. And they do show that you can really hurry up those hills when you are given some help.

I wasn't criticising the video at all, well done to Steve. My reference to a 'pure stinker' was to the weather!

I wondered who'd be daft enough to go out and film it. Was on my way back from Fort William and timed my journey to perfection as 60163 was heading north as I was heading south and got a good view as I passed Tebay services.

Nice to see 86401 got a run out Coventry to Carnforth today. First revenue earning run for WCRC albeit still in CS colours.

60163 with the N/Belle seen from Shap Wells and Aisgill, what one would call a dismal day out.

I notice that Tornado ran through Blackburn today despite being previously out of gauge. What changed?

I saw you at Aisgill. I’m spending a few days in the area so went there to film Tornado. The weather was awful so I just nipped out of the car at the last moment to take a photo. Nice filming given the conditions.

Well spotted, I missed that but will keep my eye on future trips.

Presumably the "potential" clearance issue with the old Daisyfield station platform turned out, on closer review, to be ok or required some minor remedial works that have now been carried out. All is now fine thanks to Mr Shuttleworth and NR.

Well done for perseverance Nige. That's one of those wake up, open one eye, realise it's still dark when it shouldn't be, turn over, pull the quilt up and have an extra couple of hours in kip days if ever there was one.
