Nice job, I take it you are resisting the urge to do one of your excellent weathering paint jobs on it

Was on the Llangollen canal last week. Heart breaking to see Llan so busy at the weekend and the railway closed.
Would be grateful if a link could be posted, so that those who want to become a member, on where/how to join.
Might even get my hands dirty

I believe the website is currently undergoing a revamp, so most things aren’t on there now. I think the office still has the same email address, it’d be worth dropping them a message and hopefully someone will be able to advise about membership and volunteering.

    Email address deleted.

FYI of other the email link that Iain posted gets rejected. I presume this is to do with the "reorganising" that is happening.

Looks like the RBR from the auction has sold and moved to the South Devon Railway. (Taken from a carriage group on FB.)

Just moved. Still owned by the same person, notably a former director of the railway up until last September.

That former director has been vilified along with the others in some quarters, but I think the PLC accounts suggest that he made directors loans totalling £120K that he is unlikely to see back, as well as any money he may have lost as a creditor for contract work on his loco and autocoach.

Has there been an update on a restart date? Just had a look around and couldn't find anything.

Jennifer sold and number 17 will leave shortly. Cogan Hall also moving on. I think it’s a watch this space with regards to a reopening date.

Are you sure it’s sold? Happy to be corrected but I heard it was just on hire.

FB Page says its new home, so I'd presume sold.

Which loco is No17 please? I think the Betton Grange group had previously said that they would be moving Cogan Hall to Tyseley

Thank you for the clarification. It gives the railway some much needed funds I guess and Jennifer was of limited use going forwards, so makes sense. Hopefully we may see a visit once or twice in the future.
