I have had a good idea as everyone is doing virtual things of doing a virtual gala. This will be at the great Central railway and the way it works is the first move is a new build Britannia engine called SS great Britian 70055 from the shed to the platform and now someone posts what the next move is. It can be whatever you like it to be as long as it can happen and not engines jumping over platforms.

All ready being done. We had a great one on Facebook for the North Norfolk Railway last weekend. It can be reviewed on ‘Friends of the North Norfolk Railway’.

That’s good to hear. This one is on the great central railway and at the moment one engine is waiting in the platform I will let someone else do the next move

63601 runs from shed through the down loop and onwards to Swithland to pick up a rake of 30 mineral wagons

No working timetable for visitors with details of exactly which loco is pulling which authentic train? Then I'll spend my virtual time and Bitcoins elsewhere!

People could go through their photos and see if they’ve taken one the same of any of the moves in our gala and post it. It will give people something to do. Then say where on the line they were watching that way the gala is not just for drivers

The Britannia is now going to Leicester to get the coaches that I have put there overnight to make the gala more interesting.

And the coaches left at Leicester overnight were vandalised as the windows didn't have roller shutters installed, so the trains would have been a bit breezy if it had gone ahead! :)

Did anyone notice the one way move from Quorn to Loughborough with a bright yellow 37? The WTT says it stops abruptly just outside Loughborough...

    Still too soon?

Meanwhile, the TPOs have gone past Quorn again, unfortunately no loco was noted...

    This is too easy!

60009, posing as 60017 carries 'The Elizabethan' headboard and runs non-stop from Loughborough - Leicester with a crew change on the move passing Swithland.
