And so the livery conundrum starts... Why is it I get the feeling that Mr Smith wasn't entirely joking when he suggested 'improved engine green' last time around?

BR Green with a copper capped chimney for the WCR Stratford jobs would set tongues wagging ;)

B.R. brunswick green or L.M.S. wartime black lined but the latter would be nice but definatly no swindon copper bonnets or rings on the 7P L.M.S. beauty 46115 i thought the only western loco 10A had is 5972 olton hall.

There is/was no such thing as "B.R. Brunswick Green" despite it being regularly referred to in the enthusiast press. B.R. passenger loco green was inherited from, and is the same spec. as, G.W.R Middle Chrome Green. Brunswick green has a lot more blue in it and is a totally different colour.

Me too. First time I have seen it 'in the flesh' as it were, the Deltics wear it well!
