Hi all. Probably the daft question for the day, but does anyone know of any Mk1 non-brake coaches that may be for sale? Cheers.

Are you looking for usable, or restoreable, or spares only condition? I can think of a SK that's bottom end restorable or spares condition that might be available.

I am really trying to find something that is, while not necessarily ready to run, is not a basket case either. If you're thinking of 25255, I am afraid that would be too far gone for what I have in mind. Thanks.

Any MK1 being put up for sale by any railway will be a basket case, one that is in need of major work, beyond of what their own repair capability's are, Some railways will have differing ideas of what is for them repairable, a well equipped works, will be able to tackle far more involved repairs than one with very basic capabilities.
You may find one that will need work, but won't be a complete wreck, but it will be the exception , than the rule, most railways dont let restorable coaches go, I'm assuming this is going to be a working vehicle, not a static coach?
