    On Sunday 28th, the Barry Tourist Railway will be hosting the Big Barry Classic Car Rally with The Glamorgan Classic Car Club

    We are expecting 60+ classic cars for our car rally at Barry Island Station on Sunday 28th July. Most of the cars date from the 1950's - 70's but we are also expecting some pre-war classics plus some military vehicles and a range of motorbikes. Our military museum should also be open. The cars will be located around the station and on the platforms.

    We will be running a vintage railcar set on the railway offering people an opportunity to step back in time for the day!

    Opening times are 10.30 - 4.30.

    The rally is being organised in conjunction with the Glamorgan Classic Car Club.

    Trains operate from Barry Island Station using our vintage railcar set 'IRIS II' at 11.45, 13.30, 14.30 & 15.30. Return journey takes approx 45 mins.

    Entrance to the Exhibition is free

    Barry Tourist Railway Return Tickets prices are as follows

    Adults £5
    Children £3
    Combined Family Tickets £12


    It is planned to make this an annual event in the future
