Is it the diesel and coaches that go back tonight or 60103. There's a path on Wednesday morning from BL to Salisbury?

Nice looking veg patch but all that wood burning. I now have a wood burner and seldom dispose of any timber. If its too small to burn its kindling, not suitable for a stove - Bewdley for lightingbup

I have two wood burners - lounge and dining room / study, which collectively heat the house beautifully. Anything really burnable is carefully placed in dry storage.

The bonfire pictured is dealing with a collection of straggly tree roots and the (very wormy) remains of a shed full of old bee keeping equipment.

Is that sloping path your short cut to the railway station?

The sloping path is the way in from the road.

The direct path to the station goes through the gap in the new stone wall and directly down to the station yard.

But do come along on the Stogumber 'open gardens' weekend on 24 and 25 June, when a range of beautiful gardens (and mine, which is 'in course of arrangement') will be open to visit for £6 the lot towards local charities.

    Kind regards

    Robin

Apologies if it's been asked before and I've missed it, but for how much longer is 5199 at the railway?

Thanks in advance to anyone able to assist with information.

    Kind Regards
    Matt

  10. As I understand it, 5199's last WSR duties are today (Monday), Matt. Leaves later this week.

As it's working the train which arrives at BL at 1656, it should be some time after that, although the move has not been put in the working timetable for today so it's a possibility that it will stay at BL for collection from there.

What will be taking 5199's place for the rest of this week ?
I'm staying at Blue Anchor & would like a change from seeing one of our Llangollen home fleet.

    Bob.
