If anyone is interested, Quarry Hunslet "Velinheli" is likely to spend the 2009 season on display at Launceston as it is not planned for her to be steamed this season. She may form the centerpiece of a display on the Welsh slate quarries & their locos if the time is found before the summer to put such a display together.

Does this mean dorothea is likely to be the third operating loco for the season? See you in August!

3rd operating loco in the summer will be the Darjeeling. Can't say any more about Dorothea other than we will have to wait and see!

James Evans started dismantling Velinheli yesterday with a view to dropping her wheels and fitting new tyres in the next month or so.
