RTT shows 1Z44 departed at 1022 but the Railcam signalling diagram shows 1Z44 now in Holgate sidings suggesting loco has been detached?

Yeah judging from the railcam signalling diagrams looks like 1Z44 has gone back into the station?

    Welcome to the forum Debbie.
Not yet known what the problem was or even if it's Flying Scotsman hauling the train!

With nothing in the way from Skipton to Carlisle it will be interesting to see what sort of run they have.

RTT shows a quarter minute "stop" in Skipton, looks like the passengers intending to board there drew the short straw.

I WAS ON York station this morning watching the chaos. At the booked departure time the stewards were moving passengers from the front two coaches. Half an hour later they split the train, with 60103 putting the coaches into a siding to join the West Coast diesel locos. I gave up watching at that point as we had to check out of our hotel.
This doesn't reflect well on West Coast, who should be aware of load limits.

    Bob.
