    got my tickets today they only sent me one ticket to start with i rang the office to tell them they said i would have to sit in the buffet coach i said NO as i had booked last year now i have been upgraded (free) to first class thanks steam dreams let's hope the weather is good for the walk into the city centre (weatherspoons).it's a pitty the new track from harrowden jct to kettering isn't open that would be a first for steam

    Many thanks for that offer.
    Leaving the Kettering water stop would be a useful 15 minutes warning for those at Harringworth viaduct (despite the poor angle of the light if on time).

    No I do not currently volunteer
    I spoke to SD earlier and said I wished to transfer to another tour. They agreed, no questions asked. Excellent service!

    47760 should be return traction as went light engine to barrow hill yesterday. Hope this helps train surfer.

    on time from victoria and clapham, slowing for barnes,
    bit of slow running means we arrived ten late for water at Brent curv, only five minures for water..we are now 5 mins early leaving..how much water does it need after 15 miles :)
    Hendon 0929. +8mins.
    St Albans 0952 - on time
    Luton 1014 - ontime steam to spare
    Flitwick 1028 - ontime...that buffets got ssquare wheels again
    Wellingborough 1057 +1, just slowed to a stand whilst a HST passed
    Harrowden jn arr 1059, got 27 mins to wait here in a field...
    crisis..last batch of bacon butties now on sale!!

    Just got back from photting her crossing the Ouse north of Bedford. Not a lot of energy being expended.
