Many thanks Shep, Mark and Henry - much appreciated. 45690 skipped the Barton and Broughton stop last week, but 48151 was incarcerated for its booked stay of around an hour - luckily the articificial lighting saved the day/night. Must be quite a frustrating pathing stop for all on board, being so close to home.

I seem to remember being held at Broughton loop behind 48151 for no real apparent reason a few years back David as we could have been at Lancaster by the time the trains passed us :(:( Cracking video as ever by the way .

Many thanks Steve, much appreciated. There appeared to be a big enough gap before a procession of trains - and certainly the Scot and Leander were allowed through on earlier runs, but perhaps 50 mph can't get it clear of the first one.
