Gentlemen, weekend is nearly upon us, and with the fine cold weather forecast comes the return of the now legendary Cotton Mill Express.
Who's riding, who's got the camera on charge and who's got a crafty new vantage point to try ?
Perhaps Mr Riley could enlighten us as to which of his magnificent machines will be rostered ? :-k

Anyway, have a great day all, looking forward to seeing the pics and vids with a beer on saturday night!

    Kindest regards,

    Matt Curtis.

I'll be out tomorrow, it seems ages since December. Hoping to find a spot high in the hills around Lydgate and then possibly exiting Sough Tunnel but got lost there in December and reverted to the tried and tested so wouldn't be surprised if the same happened tomorrow!!

Is it not better to have a separate thread for each trip, like we did last year ? :-k

Not sure if I will be out tomorrow - I am off to negotiate now as I would like to go and see that green engine on Sunday as well!!

    Hi all !

Heres my clip from a freezing cold and windy Diggle this morning, as you can see 45407 was going great guns and well worth getting hypothermia for !!

Only a fortnight till the next one, cant wait, well done to all involved.

    Kindest regards,

    Matt.

I thought you were being a bit obnoxious earlier, but seeing that I can't help feeling that whoever it is is taking a bit of a risk hanging that far out with such a large camera :-k

He's obviously there with Ian's blessing as that is the Riley Mk 2 support coach he is hanging out of.

Not the end of the world though.

    Regards,

    Dan

Great video again Matt, slightly spoilt by the appearance of two Nat Pres members skulking about on the banking 51 seconds in and the 10 year old apprentice photter whose photos will appear later ;-)
