813 has been doing some mechanical testing including having a run to Kidderminster today! It still needs a repaint which is due to occur at Kidderminster in the near future. Pictures on FB

7714 has had it's boiler replaced in the frames and been moved back to main workshop.

Has there been some failures at bridgnorth? Was thinking of coming Sunday for the double headed tanks and looking at the website they are no longer running and a diesel has been added

A few shots of 813 in action yesterday during her test runs. Seen at Orchard Crossing and on Eardington and Highley banks.

Not sure about the morning but 4566 did the second round trip for BN1 on its own, on 7 mark 1's when the normal limit for it is 6.

34053 came light from Bridgnorth to do BS1 but arrived late leading to the 10.30 leaving 47 mins late (or so I'm told). By the afternoon, the delay was ca. 30 mins.

Oh, it seems to have got worse. From FB, it seems 7812 and 1450 have failed, 2857 failed earlier in the week, 7802 is on washout and 1501 is still away on its hols.
D1015 is provisionally in use on sunday on SS1 otherwise it will be a 50.

Not aware re 1450 & 2857 but 7802 is on washout this coming week with only a short list of defects to attend to (working party tomorrow); 7812 was taken out of service today (due for washout after one more day anyway) with a broken spring & defective brick arch. Along with the washout those and any other minor items will be attended to this coming week.

2857 was taken out of service on Tuesday after the left hand piston was found to be slightly loose in the crosshead and will be out for six weeks or so as it will undergo a full V & P.

34027 had a problem with the right hand rear rocker bar which remained vertical, the link having detached. It needed to be cold to be fixed, otherwise, it was fine.

I guess it is most likely to be one of the manors, if neither are ready, the only other steam possibility is if 1450 is fixed and will double-head with 4566!

It won't be either Manor by then because both are due a boiler washout. Best clue is here & there is no known reason why 4566 & 1450 can't be used if required : http://www.svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=100

1450 was taken out of service on Thursday to investigate a potential fault, I understand.
