    I think they will move back to more locals from what I've heard. It really depends what the other guests are.
    If we're going for such a big one like 60103, you might as well go for relatively small guests to make up the lineup. There's going to be at least 3 pacifics. Do you need more?

    Equally if you get guests that are too small you get complaints that they are unable to do full line trips! TBH locos no doing full line trips doesn't upset me too much as long as they are well used, unlike the WSR this spring who put 46521 on shunting duties at Dunster for the whole day I was there. :Banghead:

    Ouch, fortunately we don't do that.
    Really a variety of visiting locos is what you want.

    Yes it might be like an ordinary table C but that is because a SVR table C, esp if there is a footplate out as well, can almost be regarded as a mini gala by itself

    I thought the spring gala did that very well L92,90733, 4270 & the Coal Tank. Not knocking the Autumn gala at all btw.
