    yup, and I have had drawings at work from a company in france supplying to the States, calling for a bolt with a 25.4 x 3.175 pitch x 60 degree thread, or as engineers would know it, 1" 8un

    If you're going to mix the two up, you really should do it properly; ie '7 foot 6 mil'.

    Who says metric and imperial can't work together?
