BBC Midlands Today aired a live piece from Tyseley at lunchtime, including an interview with Bob Meanley.
60103 safely in situ for an event this weekend, tickets bookable via the Vintage Trains website, link below.

The Tyseley event is part of Birmingham Heritage Week.

Cannot see this event mentioned elsewhere on Nat Pres. hence this posting.

S160, think it's the one that used to be Franklin D Roosevelt at the MHR, I brough it up on the forum a while ago when it was incorrectly identified as 6046.

No problem. More pics and videos on the Midlands Today Facebook page, including this report: - Featuring a bit more Bob and Les Ross (the man not the Class 86).

Panniers are running the passenger shuttle. Scotsman has moved from the turntable into the other platform, looks like its staying there for the rest of the day for people going on the footplate.

Fairly interesting hour and a half or so spent wandering around. Felt a bit sorry for one poor young boy who walked across a gentleman's photo of him standing by the name plate and gave the young lad a swift push away. Didn't see the numbers of people I thought I would.

Bit out of order that, I was doing my best to avoid walking across people taking photos but it wasn't easy.

View from the drivers seat. :) The whistle is sounding better, I hope it isn't worn out after this weekend...
