Person hit by a train near Ealing Broadway this morning, so everything delayed/cancelled at the moment.

Fatality was reported at Southall. I expect there's going to be a huge backlog.

Are we surprised? Suspect that there will now be an inevitable bit of 'progress management' to get this trip up north in a timely manner.

That is probably just how RTT is interpreting the times.

I'm sticking my neck out now but I recon10.40 approx from Kettering ,its a path freight trains use (40/46) past the hour ,it fits in nice a North Jnc ,with pass' trains going to /from Leicester.

Is that because you are assuming a water stop at Kettering? UK Steam timings show no water stop before Barrow Hill, but that surely isn't possible. The equivalent run last year took water at both Brent Curve and Kettering, though it did take the longer route via Melton Mowbray.

(Edit. Well, you were right anyway, whatever the cause. Away at 10.41.)
