    Thanks but we've known that for some weeks now. Three days of A1 and Deltic action. Hopefully it will attract a lot of people and a lot of people will mean a busy day on our fund raising stall. :)

    Absolutely nothing to do with Railway Preservation but I found a tin of spam in the cupboard at work (in date) and I made spam fritters for the residents last wednesday. They did not know what they were so I told them they were invented by a mate who trains moles for a living, oh they were impressed.

    His name wasn't Geoff Clifton by any chance? A customer of mine once kidded my dad's sister that he trained racing moles. She was a tad bemused and asked in all sincerity as to how you would know the result of a race as moles lived underground. :)
