    Yes I am an active volunteer
    During the winter, there seems from the website to be a single diesel service between New Romney and Hythe. However, when I phoned today, the lady said there was no service next Thursday - when I had been hoping to go. Does this mean that the famous school train has finished?

    I prefer steam but this seemed to be the only way to travel the line; I happen to be in Kent for a few days next week.
