    !!!Wanted!!!

I'm after an operational Permaquip Muscleman track slewer for a good price as funds are tight. Please PM me if you can help.

Sorry to the Admins that I put this here. I know it's not rolling stock but didn't know where else to place it.

Yea that's the one. I drive passed it semi-regularly on our monthly punishment to Clarks Village. Looks worth saving, but I must admit it's beyond my skills. Mid Hants?

Looks rough. It back is broken so that would be new stringers and cross members and that is before you look at what distortion has happened in the frame due to the uneven resting place. Probably could be saved but most likely thing would be to break it up as spares and take chunks of frame work etc away.

Although saying that as the number of coaches in the fields decrease it is likely that more and more bad wreck will be rebuilt similar to what happened to the locos coming out of Barry.

It's probably rare enough to give it a go, but would need some effort

Not exactly the whole 'vehicle' but does anyone happen to have a 'spare' right hand gutter end for a Mk1 Carriage? The cast 15-18" extension that fits on the end of the roof gutter.

We've got lengths of guttering. We even have a left hand casting, but can't find a right hand end.

    !!!Wanted!!!

Hi. We're looking to purchase a DMU trailer brake vehicle for conversion to a push-pull coach. Almost any condition considered but it must be structurally complete with preferably a working brake system and good tyres. Any class considered,

    Cheers,

    Mark

I fear that you are after a vehicle that is simply too rare to bear any fruit. There are only three such vehicles left in existence, listed as follows:
    1. 59228 (Telford Steam Railway) - Class 104 - out of service and technically available but probably in too poor a condition to be of any use to you. It needs MEGA work! :)
    2. 59245 (Appleby Frodingham) - Class 108 - inquiries have been made on several occasions in the past to purchase this vehicle for use in a "proper" DMU set but the current owners have never expressed any desire to sell.
    3. 59250 (Severn Valley) - Class 108 - Very much an integral part of their DMU set so I would be amazed if they ever sold it.

I know about the 104's as it's on our patch but the owners won't sell. Failing a trailer brake then any DMU alternative would be acceptable :)
