    Hi Everyone

I have an interesting painting on board in oil measuring approx 32 inches by 20 as can be seen it is a group of dogs with luggage sat in front of what appears to be an L.M.S board. It reminds me of a number of posters of the time about tickets for dogs. I would appreciate your thoughts as to this.

    Many thanks

    Martin

i think it is depicting a couple of dogs (didn't think I'd spot that did you ) that would have accompanied the huntin' shootin' and fishing' toffs who would migrate to Scotland for their fun.

LMS would suggest a mid '20s date , but it could easily have had LNWR and represented any time from the 1850s

I've no knowledge of this subject whatsoever but I would think that, if it has anything official to do with railways, the company identifier (LMS/whatever) would have been large and clear on that noticeboard.
