    Then things started going down hill. NR informed us that due to a points failure at Rugeley TV we would be unable to crossover from either up line to platform one to access the Cannock line, so we would have to continue to Lichfield, reverse and cross over there to the down and return through RTV to then reverse again, through platform one and on to Rugeley Town for our next stop. However as there was so much slack wandering back to Kidderminster we arrived there on a couple late. We were told that the fault with the points meant an overnight track possession to sort the problem.
