Milestones Museum in Basingstoke.

    Evening All,

    Some time ago I visited the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke, but have only just got round to uploading all the pictures on Flickr. This is the first one on the Photostream if anyone would like to have a look :

    The museum contains numerous exhibits from Victorian times through to the 1970s and these include steam rollers and traction engines, lorries and buses, cars, a tram - and a railway section which features the 0-6-0ST WOOLMER from Longmoor and a recreation of Winchester Chesil Station. All in all, it's well worth a visit if you live in striking distance of Basingstoke or are visiting the area.

    now that is what I call good displays. Some other museums could learn from that. Will try to visit this year
