    I rode in the open section in the middle of one of the coaches. I should have asked, but I don't know why the four corner seats tip up, my imagination tells me the open section was for carrying cattle once upon a time. DSC04128.JPG

    This will chime with anyone "fortunate" enough to "enjoy" the most recent incarnations of commuter stock in the South East. They'd just be a bit jealous of the fresh air enjoyed by L&B passengers! :)

    As one who did the entire Palma de Mallorca to Soller journey on a balcony, I concur. I hope I get an opportunity to sample the W&L Pickering's some day.

    Since the arrival of the rebuilt original vehicles the L&B is utterly delightful.
