    11.15am on BBC2 "The password is courage". A film portrayal of a British PoW who continued to be a thorn in the enemy's side. One scene shows the prisoners put to work in a German railway workshop. Oddly enough the locos appear to have been designed by mein Herren Stanier und Fowler.

    Ah, isn't this the one where a Fowler 2-6-4T gets blown up and was rumoured to be buried - it wasn't in reality, just being cut up. I have a LMR staff magazine somewhere with the whole story.

    Also BR(S) Rebuilt MN and Feltham tank ( I think) later on. Street and station scenes typical English...

    Yes it was the one with the Fowler tank, filmed at Cricklewood, it still had its BR front numberplate on too, didn't look in the slightest bit continental. Seem to remember some Mark 1 coaches in it too
