Hope the test run is going fine and that she's on the front of the train tomorrow and back for good.

Just a thought but if 34067 doesn't make it tomorrow will the tour be cancelled or diesel hauled because I think 44932 has returned to Carnforth and 60019 is still under maintenance at Southall. 70013 I don't think is ready either so it doesn't seem that there is any available locos to cover.

    I could be wrong though.

She will be up front tomorrow - positive thoughts :) Carnforth won't have sent her down if she wasn't ready, I'm sure of that. Looking forward to seeing her tomorrow morning & in the evening, hopefully.

I'm looking forward to seeing her tomorrow morning as well. Not seen her since 2004 when I had a good run behind her. Plus she's named after an airbase quite local to me.

Why do you think that? As reported in another thread around here, she performed very well on The Lincoln Imp last weekend.

Oops sorry. I did say I may be wrong. I didn't know 70013 was back in action.

I can get a good old look at 34067 at Haywards Heath tomorrow as according to UKSteam she gets there at 8:01 but doesn't leave until 9:19

Good to see her back in action. I shall be booking up the SD Basingstoke - Lincoln trip at the weekend now that the loco stable is looking a bit healthier.

I notice from the youtube videos of today's run south, she is still nameless.
A couple of years ago, it was to have been renamed for one trip, but this could not happen as she was already in steam (standing in for another loco), and it was not possible to go up behind the cladding and remove & replace the nameplate fittings as it was too hot.
It'll be interesting to see if they manage to put the plates on for the trip in the morning.

I'll go for the (steam worked) ECS movement just to see tho loco in steam.
Probably go for Clan Line on the VSOE later too.
