61264 and 13065 both confirmed on the Worth Valley's Facebook page. Really looking forward to this, will be a bit of a homecoming for the Crab as Haworth was her first preservation home.

Be nice if the B1 picks up a little charter work to boost the coffers during its mini break.

Quite a few combinations could be had that closely resemble those that hauled the Red Bank Parcels. Although isn't 45212 down to do The Tin Bath on the Sunday, subject to usual caveats of course.

Really? I thought it was the NRM's Crab that was at Haworth to start with.

Can't wait for this one. Always wanted to see (and hear!) a crab at Keighley. I remember 61264's visit in 2002. It was great. Will be nice to compare it with 45212, which really impressed me at the last gala.

Yes ... still waiting to hear the arrangements. Hoping that by spreading the event over 9 days then everyone will get a chance to see and ride without overcrowding.

Also hoping that the fare will be fair. :Shamefullyembarrased:

45212 and 45407 have been added to the line-up, only for Friday and Saturday before taking their place on The Tin Bath.

hmm whilst I congratulate the KWVR on a fantastic line up I fear there will not be many single headed trains. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Its a bug bear of mine that lines hire in guests & then you hardly see them running solo as they are doubled headed or even worse stuck behind a home fleet engine.

I don't think many railways do enough double-headers. You get to see locos on their own every day of the week in the running season. Galas are about freights and double-headers. The good thing about the KWVR is that the locos actually do work hard. 45212, 7822 and 34053 were at full bore quite a lot of the time at the last gala. It was amazing.
