Over the weekend we will be running our little Beyer Peacock with 2 lovingly restored coaches from the tanfield railway.

Their will be a standard four train timetable over the weekend, also on the Sunday up to 20 Morris Minors will be on display!

Damn that just makes me want to borrow the Beyer for a gala! She'd look so much more at home on those everyweek than a Mk2... she would Mr Almond honestly, hint hint!

I only recieved conformation tonight that our friends from Tanfield could support the 13th / 14th in support of the Knotty coach fund. Looking good at the moment but there are a few things to cover off. Lets take care not to get ahead of ourselves please. I am sure that Sunday will be ok with the Bayer.

Things are firming up, there is a prospect of a charter - unlike anything done before at Foxfield. Vintage coach's, Bellerophon.

PM me if interested - will be short notice and may involve a early start a week next sunday. All welcome - proceeds to Knotty coach trust based at Foxfield - along with the rest of the weekend.

PS if it does happen we do a fantastic breakfast !

Had a wander around today, the Tanfield Coachs look so at home on our railway that it is untrue. I do hope that they dont want them back !.

Realy looking forward to seeing these in use, in fact I am going to have a ride !.

Hope to confirm a charter soon - it will be a first for Foxfield.

Sorry everyone but we do need them back so for now it'll be for one weekend only! If you want to ride behind industials in vintage carriages there's a certain railway where you can do it every sunday and bank holiday all year round! Think it's got a 'field' in the name too!

Yes but TR could soon be converted to FR !. Still it will be nice to take a ride in your coach's this weekend - with luck we will raise some cash towards the Knotty coach restorations. The first frame is finished and the trust are working hard on the second.

It would be nice to get the first Knotty running next year.

    Sorry no charter.

Beyer will be running with the coach's this weekend however. Worth a visit as this is a first for Foxfield - many of us think that this is the way forward for our passenger trains.

Web site doesn't give a time tabele for specail even't, not even at this stage.

Would be nice to know when is the first train and how many runs (trips) there is going to be. Trying to plan a two day (drive back home and back again) visit.

Last train back time would also be helpfull, of course ever better still a time table.

Sorry for the lack of a timetable. As you can appreciate we are all volunteers and updating the website has been a on the back burner due to my personal circumstances...

Anyway we are running a standard four train timetable throughout the weekend with our little Peacock.

    Times: 11:30, 13:00, 14:30 & 16:00 from Caverswall Road.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Had a ride on the coachs yesterday for the first time, windows open, 1879 engine at the lead, sunny day - what more could you want !!.

Running again today, sunny day - if you are around pop in and say hello. I will be drill holes in oak beams close to Dubsey.
