What a timely question. The answer to your question is that the much-anticipated Hunslet/Baldwin re-union (in steam) will take place at Apedale for Tracks to the Trenches, July 13-15. They have been together before. Well-known is when HE1215 was at LBLR for a few days after it was imported to the UK. Less well-known is that the locos worked side-by-side in 1917, according to recent research by members of 778's owning group.

I cannot really comment on the exact status of HE1215, as I do not represent the owners, the War Office Loco Trust. However, I am sure that they will announce their news before long!
