Last Thursday 22-6-17 spotted a Helicopter on the M40 travelling Northwards.
On the back of a low loader.
Marked up as Navy, was it one of the last Sea Kings heading for a museum somewhere?

Without an image it will be difficult to form an opinion. The RN has retired both the Sea King and the Lynx recently.

There is also a privately owned Westland Wasp that seems to get trailered around the country quite a bit.

Bit difficult with a closing speed of about 100 and only me at the wheel.
Looked like a Seaking and I have flown in SK's, Lynx's and Westlands, amongst others, while working for Auntie Betty.
