    Hello alltogether

I've found an interesting association (Great Wester (Severn Valley) Association), which currently works on restauring the GWR First Class Composite 6045.

They have a very nice and non neglected Website:
    http://www.gw-svr-a.org.uk/
    Find the appeal:

unfortunately their Facebook page is not free to see... I hope they'll change it

In the coming days, I will present some carriage groups in the forum, in order to help the not well known Groups getting more publicity.

Thanks for locating that link, it's a new one on me. Looks like Haven Street finally have some serious competition regarding frequent and comprehensive website updates.:)

I'm struck by the similarities in bodywork construction between this design and Bulleid's later stock for the SR, yet with an internal finish more in keeping with turn of the century carriages.

Luckily, there's plenty via the gw-svr-a link and being one of those not overly enamoured of Facebook, I'm sanguine about that link not doing whatever it isn't doing.

It took me months to successfully quit Facebook..... before they made it more difficult to escape. I was going to add that sometimes folk just don't to want to be stalked by tedious bores from the "good old days" who seem to infest social media..... oops..... I did!!

    So much for nostalgia. ;)
