The Harbour Station webcam has not been available for sometime. Albeit dated October 2006, there is on the Ffestiniog website at http://www.ffestiniograilway.co.uk/news.asp?cat=1&dismode=article&msel=b102006&artid=60, an announcement confirming that work is well underway to restore the webcams. There is even a webcam test page at http://www.ffestiniograilway.co.uk/webcam.htm, but clicking the link indicates that the webcam stream has been deactivated.

I have emailed the webmaster but did not get a response. Consequently would anyone else know whether it's the Ffestiniog's intention to reinstate the Porthmadog webcam, or has the facility now been relegated to history?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Chris

This raises a curious question of mine...is this in the right section? Surely as all Narrow Gauge is confined to our small sub-section on this forum are we allowed to post outside it!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
