    Last weekend Fairbourne held its annual and ever popular Santa Specials and we managed to capture one departure from Barmouth Ferry on film.

    So here is a video of Sherpa the Darjeeling B class replica which was the loco for the weekends service pulling out of Barmouth Ferry station heading out of the station and up towards the tunnel with a load of 8 bogies, note the whistle that was made in the workshop a few years ago and very simular sounding to the southern pacifics.

    Thats a good video. I like the engine sounds excellent. must pop up this year and see whats changed
