For me, an indication that spring is here is the start of the annual bus running days around the outer London area featuring the old LT country buses. The first event is usually held at East Grinstead and is organised by Country Bus Rallies. Last Sunday was that day and it was great to see a sunny day welcoming the veterans back into public service. The star exhibit was probably RM2, from the LT Museum, which was giving rides along the old route 409 and 424. Another excellent day.
My photos from the day can be seen here https://paulgildersleve.smugmug.com/East-Grinstead-Sunday-10th/

    Regards,

Very nice! As a former SE Londoner, it was good to see a 180 route bus which I used to use many years ago.

Same for me, the 180 was a Catford route my Dad worked sometimes.
