The last time No. 7822 Foxcote Manor took on the identity of one of its scrapped classmates was during the Llangollen Railway’s ‘1960s Weekend’. It is seen here at Carrog station on July 23 as No. 7807 Compton Manor. DUNCAN LANGTREE

It’ll be a case of mixed identities at the Llangollen Railway’s Autumn Steam Gala, as residents ‘Manor’ No. 7822 Foxcote Manor and BR Standard ‘4MT’ 2-6-4T No. 80072 take on new guises.

Both locomotives are due to appear in their alternative guises on Sunday September 4 only.
