    Before heading off to the Flour Mill for it's boiler overhaul, the DFR are lucky enough to secure a visit from the Prairie Engine, 5521, on it's last steaming before it undergoes this major work.

    5521 will be joining the DFR's own "Forest Prairie", 5541, for a very special Prairie Weekend!

    By special arrangement, the Flour Mill wall also be opening it's doors for tours on Sunday 16th October, and we will have a bus link from Norchard to the workshops. There will be a £5 charge for the visit (not pre-bookable), with all profits being donated to local charities.
