    I've shamelessly lifted this from another forum, but the person in question is far more eloquent than I, so here we go.

    "The Dean Forest Railway's Diesel Gala will be on September 15th-17th.

    The first visitor has now been confirmed and will be the Somerset and Dorset Locomotive Company's D8188 normally based at the Severn Valley Railway. This will join residents D3937, D9521 and D9555. We hope to confirm a further visitor soon. Availability of our Hunslet shunters will be decided closer to the event when we have a better idea of driver availability.

    The above information is subject to the usual caveats regarding locomotive serviceability and driver availability."

    I have it on good authority that further announcements on the line-up will be on the way soon.
