Indeed this is correct.Hoping for 55009 rather than 670xx,in which case won't be going to Cornwall.

Likewise, I'll stick with a Deltic or at a push 2x 37's, but any GM or Brush device will have me reaching for the cancel button.

Disappointing for passengers and Pathfinders alike - looks like tour is fully booked. If 55009 is not available maybe the tour will be postponed?

Doubt it, a mazey day tour to Penzance seems to be a permanent fixture in the Pathfinder calendar.

Hire by GBRF for some freight work on the MML from what I've seen so could be right about Mountsorrel, I underlined might earlier as it's not confirmed yet.

I suppose the DTG have the cost of a overhaul to recover so it is understandable why this type of work would be considered. Other than Dec 14 and Apr 5, is there any other dates/destinations for D1015 in the pipeline ? I know this type of question is normally met with a derisory response but getting Saturdays off work is a constant battle with the roster clerk !!!!!!!!

A problem at the minute is very few apart from Pathfinder seem to be showing interest in running preserved diesels of late, WCRC prefer to use their own power unless a provider specifies otherwise.

I'd be surprised if she doesn't do a number of tours in 2014, just need patience for the itinaries to come out, very few will have announced plans beyond March at the moment.

I did a double take today when I saw D1015 in Wellingborough Yard on my way to Derby and back, I was hoping to see the two ex-Metronet Class 66s in their new liveries!

    Regards,

    Dan
