    Hello,

Does anyone have maps or know the route of the Camborne and Redruth Tramways? I can only seem to find the route that is now the A3047, but can't find the industrial parts.

Does anyone know if any relics of it remain?

    Thanks

    Chris

Are Devon and Cornwall "international" now? :)
Must be an early effect of Brexit.
If you search on Google or similar you can find maps. The route was largely alongside the road.

I have a personal gripe about this - it's labelled International Railways/Tramways, and although implied that those Tramways are also international, there is no separate section that covers domestic tramways explicitly, so I've assumed that would be the best location

Well, strictly speaking international includes UK, although it's often used as a polite way of saying"foreign".

Yes, it maybe could be a little better defined. If in doubt the 'General Railway' chat section or 'Everything Else Heritage' could be appropriate but in this case I thought that its 3'6" gauge gave it a home :)

The waiting room in West End Redruth is still there and now incorporated into accommodation. At Pool there are the remains of the ore tipping bay by the side of the Taylors shaft engine house (National Trust) at the back of the Morrison's car park. In front of it is some embedded track (the tramway handled tin ore). Along the route some track has been uncovered in the past when road works have been undertaken and a colleague has some short lengths of this. The car shed and generating station were pulled down some years ago and were where McDonalds now stands.
